Joys: Spontaneous and Contrived

My new exhibition at Beaver Galleries opens on 24 March (not long now!) and continues until 10 April 2022.
Pictured here is a detail of a work in progress. The aim is to make work that is as happy as possible, as a partial antidote to the angst of past two years (sadly continuing). The ‘spontaneous joys’ of the title are the pure ones that just bubble up, the contrived joys are those deliberate things we did in order to be able to keep going.
The exhibition will consist of watercolours, and watercolour monoprints such as the two pictured. All works are for sale.
