From the Journey of Violets exhibition, a group exhibition curated by PG Printmaker Gallery, Fitzroy, June 20 – July 4, 2019 in support of asylum seekers. 13 artists were asked to respond to a contemporary Iranian poem by Mohammad Reza Shafiei Kadkani. My title, A thousand laments, is from a line in the poem.
