Green Sheep goes to Vietnam

Posted on: March 1, 2018

Where is the Green Sheep? has just been published in Vietnam, in a bilingual Vietnamese-English edition. That makes quite a few languages the Green Sheep is now in – English, Spanish/English, Korean, Kryzg, Hebrew and Maori. Translations of rhyming books are tricky, because of course the words don’t necessarily rhyme in the new language, but somehow it’s working out. I love seeing my familiar drawings with the different scripts.

Is the bi-lingual version available for purchase in Australia? There are many Vietnamese-Australians who would love this for their children. I definitely would (we already have multiple copies of the English language version). I also have friends in the US whom I would love to send the bi-lingual version to!

I’m hoping to buy some copies from the Vietnamese publishers, to be able to put some in my shop because there has been quite a bit of interest. Send me an email at letting me know how many copies you might be likely to take – the more pre-orders I can get the easier it will probably be to do an order, Best, Judy
