    Hello Judy

Hoping you might be able to help me with something. My daughter lost all of her baby memories and personal effects in a fire recently in Australia.
She is trying to recreate her baby boxes and one of the things she really wants is a book – “Yellow is my favourite colour”
I can’t seem to find a copy anywhere. Can you help?

I would be so grateful if you could let me know of anywhere I might be able to find one.

    Kind regards
    Bridie McCabe

      Hi Bridie,

What a very sad thing for your daughter. Yellow is my favourite colour was published in Australia as Yellow is My Favourite Colour, then went out of print and was re-published as Yellow is My Colour Star in Australia and the US. I have copies of that book available on my website. Just so you know, it is a bit different to the original version you had – the title obviously, and it has some extra pages (with extra text and extra pictures), and it’s paperback, not a boardbook – slightly bigger in format height and width, but normal paper rather than the thick boards of the original so skinnier. Here it is: https://horacek.com.au/product/yellow-is-my-favourite-colour. If your daughter needs the exact same format of book, the only thing I can suggest is trying second hand shops.Someone else wrote to me this month whose son’s baby box had been destroyed with his loved copy of Yellow in it – what a strange co-incidence!

    Hello Judy!
I love your work. I’m currently putting together a presentation for a university course at Queen’s University in Canada on “Post-Development Theory.” I came across one of your drawings and I would love to use it in my power point (with proper credit to you of course.)
Would that be okay with you?
    Yours,
    Janet

Hi Janet, that should be fine. But if you don’t mind, could you send me an email to info@horacek.com.au with the details, including letting me know which cartoon it is. Always nice to know what’s hitting the spot in other countries! Thanks for asking.
