Last days of the Exhibition!

Posted on: October 18, 2017

Odds & Ends & Other Places, my exhibition of prints, watercolours and small objects at No Vacancy Gallery, Fed Square, is closing this Sunday, 22 October.  It has been great – lots of people have come through, quite a few works have sold and it has been extremely lovely showing this side of my art practice in Melbourne.  That is, Horacek work that is not my cartoons and not my picture books, but more openended, evocative pieces, and various printmaking mediums.  The usual quirky and whimsy, but no punchlines.

As well as the artworks, also available at the gallery are copies of my two most recent cartoon books on sale (at a special exhibition price) and very heavily discounted greeting cards, in both the cartoon cards and the larger etching card series.

Apologies that my posts have jumped from ‘Exhibition Sneak Peak’ to ‘Last Days of the Exhibition’, with little in between, but time got a bit out of my control.

There’s still a bit of time to catch the exhibition.  It’s at No Vacancy Gallery (next to Beer Deluxe), The Atrium, Federation Square, Melbourne CBD.  Until 5 pm today, 11-5 Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday.
