Far and Near

I’ve been very busy working on my new exhibition to be held at Beaver Galleries in Canberra in November, from 5th to 29th to be precise.  I’ve been working on watercolours – a larger size than I usually work (nearly A3!), which has been both challenging and exciting. And in the end, delightful.  I’ve also been making prints using photopolymer plates, under the guidance of Dianne Longley of Agave Studios, who is also working as master printmaker to produce the edition (I’m helping).  These are my usual small sizes.  I am also working on some small ceramic objects, but I’m still resolving these so won’t say anything about them at the moment, except that I am having an enormous amount of fun messing around with something so completely new.

The exhibition invitation is below – the first two images are intaglio prints, the last one is one of the watercolours.  I will be there on opening night, Thursday 5 November, 6pm, and also there for the last day of the exhibition on Sunday 29th.  Come along if you can.
