The major highlight is of course having been able to earn a living all these years as a freelance cartoonist, not an easy feat. It’s also been fantastic working with all the wonderful dedicated people I have worked with over the years, many of whom are passionate about making the world a better place. And it’s brilliant being able to work at what I love.
But for more concrete cartooning highlights, see below.

Retrospective cartoon exhibitions
The word ‘retrospective’ makes it sound as if I am much older than I really am, but the following two exhibitions in major cultural institutions were exactly that, gathering together important cartoons I had done over the years.
I am woman hear me draw, cartoon retrospective, National Museum of Australia, March – June 2002 then touring nationally
Laughter, the Universe and Everything, cartoon retrospective, National Gallery of Victoria, March-April 1999, Monash Gallery of Art March 2000, then touring regional galleries in Victoria till early 2001, and also shown in Adelaide.
See the ‘Books’ section for details on my cartoon collections, and ‘Commissions’ under the Cartooning heading for information about books I have done cartoons for.
