The people have spoken

I discovered today that I’ve won a cartooning prize!  A cartoon of mine in the 2008 incarnation of Behind the Lines, the National Museum’s annual travelling cartoon exhibition, won the People’s Choice Award when the exhibition was on in Perth last year, at the Constitutional Centre of Western Australia.  (The exhibition was on last year, but I only found out about the prize today, when I received the plaque in the mail!)  The people of Western Australia are obviously people of great intelligence and discernment.  Here’s the cartoon:spec16-hysterical-penguins-
