Just received an advance copy of the cd I did the cover for, what fun! For Benjamin Britten’s ‘Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra’ from ABC Classics. It looks as lovely as I hoped. The cd also includes Kleinsinger’s Tubby the Tuba and Ravel’s Mother Goose, and there are pictures of them inside too.
Fantastic review by Lucy Sussex of ‘If you can’t stand the heat’ in the Sunday Age – she says I ‘brighten the day with wit and intelligence’! Brightened my day that’s for sure.
Here’s a very cute picture that Mem Fox sent me of her and her grandson reading my picture book ‘Yellow is my favourite colour’ together.
