I think this is the biggest my work has ever been – a banner across the front of the Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne for the 6th International Feminist Book Fortnight in 1994, purple of course. I have now thought of a title for my new exhibition of prints, opening on 18 September at Helen Maxwell Gallery in Canberra. It’s to be called Everyday Fairytales. Unfortunately I’ve had to pull out of talking at the Cartoonists’ Evening at the Jewish Museum in Melbourne. The event itself is still on though, Sunday 9 August 7.30 pm, so go along to hear the fabulous others talking about ‘Unveiling a new superhero’.

I am more than a little disturbed by the current trend to throw around the word ‘Nazi’. I recently heard a teacher described as a hat nazi because he insisted that students wore hats outside, in accordance with school policy.
